Growing Johns Creek, GA law firm is seeking a Family Law Junior Paralegal with 2-3 years of experience to join their team!

Our client is looking for a Junior Paralegal for their growing Family Law boutique firm who takes a personalized approach to their cases. Divorce and other family transitions can be complex, emotionally stressful, and financially impactful. This role requires a legal professional with the ability to easily connect with people, and exceptional problem-solving skills. The firm is family oriented with a flexible hybrid work schedule. The candidate should be moldable with a can-do attitude.

Education and Experience

• Must have 2-3 years of law firm experience, preferably with family law and litigation - experience with family law/divorce preferred – but not required. Can have a civil litigation, business litigation or insurance defense background as well.
• Trial experience required
• Litigation experience required

Knowledge Requirements

• Effective oral and written communication skills needed to draft and proofread correspondence, pleadings, and other legal documents.
• Using various Court filing systems, must have experience filing pleadings in the state by the related court requirements.
• Understand Court requirements to calculate deadlines and ensure the attorney and team meet them.
• Managing electronic and paper case files.
• Ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure and time constraints.
• Strong attention to detail, initiative and follow-through required.
• Effective oral and written communication skills, including the ability to clearly express thoughts to others and exchange information.
• Work in collaboration within a group and individually to ensure that clients are satisfied, including the desire to understand client concerns and build trust.
